Kaitlyn Sutton, Owner
Kaitlyn Vincent is a native of Sylacauga, Alabama where her love of dance began at the age of two with Shirley Wright at Shirley’s Studio of Dance. Kaitlyn developed her fundamental training over the course of 16 years at Shirley’s Studio of Dance. Her dancing did not stop there. Kaitlyn earned a B.A. in Dance from The University of Alabama, B.S. in Marketing, and a minor in Computing Technologies. Upon her acceptance to The University of Alabama’s Dance Program, a nationally ranked dance program, she intensely studied ballet, jazz, modern, and contemporary under many world- renowned teachers and choreographers such as Joy Spears, Chris Jones, Cornelius Carter, Sarah M. Barry, Rebecca Salzer, Qianping Guo, Lawrence Jackson, Allessia Lovreglio, Melissa Toogood, Natasha Diamond-Walker, Mikhail Ilyin, and more. Kaitlyn also possesses intensive training in the areas of hip hop, tap, cheerleading, tumbling, and acro- batics. Kaitlyn was a member of Alabama Repertory Dance Theatre and has danced professionally as a backup dancer on live tv for the national Olympic trials in San Jose, California. She also received a scholarship to the prestigious Gus Giordano Dance Company in Chicago, Illinois. Kaitlyn’s accolades include the title of Miss Sylacauga’s Outstanding Teen, top 15 Miss Alabama’s Outstanding Teen, numerous talent awards, former SHS cheerleader, All American Cheerleader, model, Auburn University Dance Line Judge, and pageant judge. She also serves as a choreographer for the Miss Alabama Volunteer pageant. Kaitlyn is a former spokesmodel for Toyota of Sylacauga, appearing in commercials all over Sylacauga, Birmingham, and the surrounding areas. Kaitlyn is also a teacher and Dance Team Coach at Sylacauga High School.

Fran Vincent-Office Manager
Fran is the mother of CSDA’s owner, Kaitlyn. Fran danced with Shirley’s Studio of Dance for 16 years, was a Darlin’ Devil Majorette for three years where she served as Head Majorette her Senior year of high school. Fran earned the title of Miss Sub Deb 1987. Fran is experienced in costume designing where she has had numerous costumes win Best Costume Awards at dance competitions across the state of Alabama. Fran also has a Bachelors Degree in Human Resource Management.

Marleigh Hopkins-Dance Instructor
Marleigh Hopkins is from Sylacauga, Alabama. She is a graduate of Sylacauga High School. During her time at Sylacauga High School she was a member of the Sylacauga Varsity Cheer Team and numerous clubs. Marleigh has over 15 years of training in dance from Shirley’s Studio of Dance. After graduation, Marleigh was a choreographer at Shirley’s while attending Central Alabama Community College for her Associates in Business Administration. After receiving her associates, Marleigh then attended Auburn University where she earned her Bachelors of Manage- ment and minor in Human Resources in May of 2022.

Faith Grier-Dance Instructor
Faith has been dancing since she was three years old in the styles ballet, tap, and jazz. Faith has experience teaching a variety of dance classes and served for four years as an apprentice for Patti Rutland Jazz Dance Company. Faith studied with the Christian Ballet Company Ballet Magnificat in Jackson, Mississippi where she served as a dancer in their trainee program. Faith also served as a dance instructor and office manager for Central Mississippi Dance. Faith desires to use her talents to share her love for dance and to bring honor and glory to her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Madisyn Vincent-Assistant Manager
Madisyn Vincent is the twin sister of Centre Stage Dance Academy’s owner, Kaitlyn Vincent Sutton. Madisyn graduated from The University of Alabama cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a minor in Biology. During her time at Alabama, Madisyn was Zeta Tau Alpha’s 2019 Recruitment Chair and Risk Re-
duction Education Chairman. Madisyn received her dance training at Shirley’s Studio of Dance, she has also received individualized training in tumble and stunting. Madisyn was a Sylacauga High School Varsity Cheer- leader, she was Miss Childersburg’s Outstanding Teen, and was top 10 at Miss Alabama’s Outstanding Teen. Madisyn is currently employed by Coosa Valley Medical Center. |
